Should Albuterol Nebulization Be Taken While Suffering From Respiratory Syncytial Virus?
Hello. 5mths old that has been to the Dr and he gave him steroid and albuterol nebulizer and now we are out of town we took him to urgent care d they diagnosed with RSV. Said since it s days 4, let it take its course. Question is, should we still give him his nebulizer treatment?

It is the common infection in children.
It may takes its courses. Children also prone to develop pneumonia, middle ear infection or asthma.
So you may give above drug according to the your doctor advice. Use water vapour inhalation and symptomatic treatment.
If you observe any dyspnea or fever or tachycardia or feeding less means you have to consult your pediatrician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
