Shortness Of Breath After Taking Lactose Free Milk. Used To Take Whole Milk. Chances?

Can changing from whole milk to lactose free milk (soy milk) cause cardiac changes in an elderly man (96y/o). Since changing he has developed shortness of breath and some confusion... don t know if it is from the milk change or just age related. I m sorry....I did not realize that you had to pay for an answer.. not in the budget. Thanks anyway.

I do not think so, changing the milk should not be the reason for the breathlessness or the confusion.

There are plenty of other reasons for these symptoms with changing milk is probably not one of them.

Please see a doctor to reach a diagnosis.
