Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic forum,
The causes of pain in the chest after swallowing the food are numerous , some of the common being GERD,Oesophageal varicies, Barrett's oesophagus ,or even oesophageal cancers. Best way to get to the diagnosis would be by an Upper GI endoscopy. The test will provide pictures of the inner lumen of the oesophagus.
