Sharp Pain In Armpit And Down The Side. History Of Having Chest Infection. Urine Test Shows Leuocytes, Blood Sugar. Medications?
I have had a bad chest infection, which I have had antibiotics and now fairly clear. however, I have developed sharp pain in my side under my arm pit and slightly down the side. Although not that painful. I have done a urine test which shows leuocytes and a ++++ blood sugar ( I am a type 11 Diabetic). Just want to know what to do and what antibiotic I need? Many thanks

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Urine test with lymphocytes and ++++ sugar suggest you are not controlled with sugar and may be suffering with UTI. Get done one hemogram once to know whether there is still infection and blood sugar levels (FBS, PPBS and HbA1c). If there is infection and based on the sits we need to put antibiotics. So get back with the above investigations and any associated symptoms with your drugs. Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.
