Severe Stomach Pain, Bloating. History Of Lymphoma. What Could This Be?

on 12/12 202 i experienced severe pain in my stomach and went to the emergency room. I had the same experience in 2007 but did not seek medical attention. it went away. after 12/12/2012 they could not find any problem but did discover a mass in my abdomen which turned out to be lymphoma . A week later i experienced the same pain and stomach bloating . it went away after 6 hours. Last night i experienced the same pain and bloated stomac and it started at about 6pm and went away early this morning about 6am. I thoght it was gas but i could not pass it.

Hi there,

Thanks for your query.

From the information provided, it is apparent that you might be having a polyp or growth(?lymphoma) in your intestine, causing intermittent obstruction

I would therefore recommend that you undergo Colonoscopy to directly visualize the inside of colon for presence of polyp or a growth; or, a narrowing of the lumen. Depending on the colonoscopic findings, an appropriate course of action will relieve you of your problem.

In the meanwhile, assuming that intestinal movement is sluggish, a Pro-kinetic drug, such as, Domperidone or Metoclopamide, taken 30 minuets before meals , would definitely help.

Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he agree with me, order required tests, and- based on the reports- will prescribe suitable treatment as advised.

If you find my response helpful and informative, do not forget an “excellent” (5-star rating) to my answer, to ENCOURAGE all doctors- engaged in social service- to render sound advice to the FREE queries.

Fond regards and have a nice day
