Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a severe stomach pain in my upper abdomen when I extend my back, or lay on the ground and my back arches. I've had my appendix taken out, and have be told i have ovarian cyst, but am on medication. What could this possibly be?
Severe stomach pain in the upper abdomen would be an emergency. We think we cannot assist you in this situation. Kindly rush to an emergency room if you have the said symptoms. If it is a Ovarian cyst it could be spillage of the content causing the peritonitis or Ovarian Cyst torsion. All of the above are emergencies.
