Severe Itchy, Red Rashes Under Scrotum, Between Legs. History Of Using Hydrocortisone Cream For Heat Rashes. Suggest
It is my son who has a severe red rash under his scrotum and between his legs and has an itch that says would drive you crazy .. He has tried hydro cortisone cream as has had heat rashes before and says this time not like that and the itch is right in the skin not in pubic hair where you might find other things and everything is clear of nits or whatever he says .. he is a clean and healthy male of 38 ..

Itchy and red rashes might be due development of fungal infection after using steroid cream.Now stop it and start local cream containing anti fungal and antibacterial agent.
Take complete course of oral anti fungal like fluconazole-150 and levocetrizine to subside itching.
Take proper local care,avoid tight under garment.
Get examined by dermatologist for proper guidance and medical management.

Welcome to HCM.
It could be a Dermatophyte (Fungal) infection of the skin.
If you consult a Dermatologist he will confirm the diagnosis by examination and investigation.
It will be easily treated with appropriate anti fungal antibiotics both by external application and oral route. The treatment has to be continued at least for 4 weeks to avoid any relapse.
