Hello and welcome to HCM,

The history of running nose, headache, and fluid accumulation on X-ray head suggests sinusitis.
Sinusitis is inflammation of sinuses.
Sinuses are air filled spaces in para-nasal region.
Sinusitis is characterized by running nose, headache, and accumulation of secretions.
Sinusitis is of two types - acute and chronic.
Persistence of headache after taking antibiotics can be due to chronic inflammation.
Consult your ENT specialist.
A culture sensitivity of the secretions accumulated in the para-nasal sinuses may be required.
The micro-organism causing the infection may be resistant to the antibiotic prescribed.
Appropriate antibiotic can be determined by culture sensitivity.

Thanks and take care
Dr Shailja P Wahal
