Severe Hair Loss Due To Dandruff. Immediate Solution To Stop Hairfall?

Sir,
i'm an 18 year old girl...i've lost ample amount of hair from my crown region over 2 years...it started with appearance of dandruff then,consulted dermatologist says that the hair grows back after the dandruff clears off..but there is no noticable growth ..infact my scalp is easily visible through the strands over the crown region ..i'm worried if i'm going bald..please tell me what immediate action i must take to stop further loss and regain the lost hair back..please help

Hi ,

Dandruff is a common cause for hair loss in your age.

There are changes in hormone levels leading to extra oil production.It causes dandruff and acne.
You need to apply a antifungal shampoo like ketoconazole

.Nizoral lotion is most commonly used for this.Use it twice weekly and continue to use it even if there is no dandruff.

You can take biotin suppliments for 2 to 3 months which will help in reganing strength to your hairs.Take care.
