Hi,

I read the medical history of your friend and understood her concern.

I'd advise her to be careful with the foods and drinks she takes:

- eat often and small portions, slowly without rushing
- avoid carbonated drinks
- avoid spicy, chillies, fatty or high calories foods
- avoid too hot or too cold foods or drinks
- she can start taking simethicone
- do not lay down immediately after eating

Furthermore, she must consult a GI specialist to exclude GERD and/or gastric problems and to run the following tests:
- upper endoscopy
- esophageal pH test
- abdominal ultrasound
- examination of feces for ova/parasites
- culture of stool for candida

Hope it helped!
