Severe Diarrhea And Vomiting Due To Food Poisoning. Blood In Stool. Concerned
hi. saturday night i had an episode of food poison I threw up and had some diareah. saturday and sunday and some today when i go to the bathroom and think im actually having some direah its actually blood like blood clots.. i recently had a baby she is now 2 months should I be worried.

Hello, Observe whether the stooling is repeated several times within an hour. The below natural solutions work for very mild semi solid diarrhea on account of poor food.
Infectious causes like amebiasis cannot be stopped even with loperamide, the liquid stools just continue.
For mild diarrhea ranging 1-3 times any natural remedy or fasting etc works. In case of acute diarrhea with dehydration you need to go on a combination of antibiotics and rehydration, consult your doc, if your condition is severe it may warrant a hospitalisation for a day or two on IV antibiotics and dextrose.
If it is moderate to severe a combination of metronidazole, doxycycline/cipro, with stool softeners like cadotril or even imodium, with probiotics works.
