Severe Cough With Vomiting, Extended Belly Button With Watery Fluid. X-ray Report Normal. On Medication For Cholesterol, High BP, Psyciotic Problem. Suggest

Ive had a lot of vomiting due to deep cough,. I went to the local hospital and had an x-ray on my lungs. The results came out clear. When I returned home I noticed that my belly button was extended w/ soft fluid like water. I am 43 220lbs. on cholesterol,high blood pressure and anti Phycotic medication.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Cough may be due to many reasons , but in your case it may be due to some sort of allergy.
As far as fluid in belly button or around belly button , may be due to fistula in umbilicus or if around there may be accumulation of sweats.
As you are already taking medicine for high B P & cholesterol so cause of cough may be due to C O P D.
Consult a physician and get his opinion.
Surgeon will find out the cause of belly button fluid as physical examination is very important.
