Severe Anemia, Feeling Light Headed, Frequent Headaches. EKG Shows Sinus Rhythm, Borderline ECG. Treatment?

I have severe anemia (latest test - 10, up from 8) and had an iron infusion one week ago. I am seeing a hemotologist. For the past couple of days, I have been feeling light headed and have frequent headaches, which is unusual for me. I also had a pre-op EKG that came back as sinus rhythm , nonspecific t-wave abnormality borderline ECG . I won t have another infusion for another week. Should I be doing something else about the anemia.

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
A hemoglobin of 10 is mild anemia and not severe anemia. Also, now, you could switch over to oral iron tablets, as iron infusions could precipitate headache and light-headedness.
Please get back if you require any additional information.

Best wishes,
