Severe Acne Rosacea. No Help From Ointments Or Skin Peeling Treatments. Relief From Momate. Any Permanent Remedy?

Hi sir, i am suffering from severe acne rosacea. I have gone to several dermatologists who have recommended various medicines and ointments but nothing has worked so far. I even tried taking skin peeling treatment but no effect.i started using momate to reduce the redness and see my skin getting clearer because of that. can i continue to use it atleast once a week ? i know it is not good to use it for a long time but i have no other better solution other than momate. I eat less oil, less choclate and spicy stuffs. I even use sunscreen but i am very much frustrated with my rosecea problem. Can u recommend me a permanent remedy to my roseacea ?

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic
Topical steroid is not good for Rosacea. It can cause Rosacea to become worse.
There are a lot of treatments for it. Stick to one good dermatologist so that he can try various treatments and get the right one suited for you.
Topical metronidazole gel, Oral Doxycycline tablets, Low dose of isotretinoin tablets, topical retinoids etc can be tried.

Sunscreen is a must and use a sensitive range sunscreen. Use a mild cleanser like cetaphil sensitive cleanser to wash your face. Avoid toners and astringents.

Avoid spicy foods, alcohol, hot environments, hot drinks, caffeine.

Your skin will always be sensitive and you should take care of it through out.
Hope this helped
