Sensation Along The Base Of Penis While Urinating

A few weeks ago I was unable to urinate - I took anti-biotics and the flow is back to normal - however I now have a sensation along the base of my penis but it does NOT hurt or burn when I urinate. I have had two UTI in the past six months - I also have nocturia and have to urinate 3 times during the night

Hello
Thanks for query.

You have not mentioned your age in your query.

The problems that you have mentioned could be due to either Enlarged Prostate or infection of the Prostate (Prostatitis).

You need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic test done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Routine urine and urine culture
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis.
3) Serum PSA.
Further treatment will depend upon the results of these tests and final diagnosis.
