Semen Analysis Report Showed Fibrin Clots, Liquefaction, Consistency, Head Defects And Neck Defects. Meaning?
Hi there, i just got my husband semen analysis report.Details as below..pls explain..thnk u:)
Appearance: fibrin clots seen
Liquefaction : not significant
Consistency: viscous
Rapid linear 10%
Slow linear 37%
Non progressive 3%
Immotile 50%
Total motile count 78.2 x 10
Normal morphology 7%
Head defect 40%
Neck defects 33%
Tail defects27%
Debris +ve
The rest is normal based on the W.H.O Norms (2010)

hello mam!
normal sperms should be 60 percent minimum in normal morphology.
60 % of sperms should have normal motility again a problem.
were there any wbcs in it to rule out infection?
check for the levels of zinc, citric acid, acid phosphatase, or alpha-glucosidase
the food for the boys on which they survive.
do Antisperm antibody test and Hormonal analysis for better assessment.
do Transrectal ultrasonography Scrotal ultrasonography and Vasography .
some function tests are here.
Capacitation assay
Acrosome reaction assay
Sperm penetration assay
Hypoosmotic swelling test
Inhibin B level
Vitality stains
one thing is for sure. you will need a fertility clinician to help you conceive. there are options. and nothing is impossible.
