Hi, I recently got diagnosed with testicular cancer. I had an orchidectomy to remove the diseased piece. My ct scan came back clear, However, it says "Residual thymic tissues is evident. There is no evidence of pulmonary or skeletal metastatic disease." Should i be concerned about this residual piece. I heard that in some extreme circumstances, it can be a cause for concern. I am 27 years old, and i understand that the thymus gradually disappears as we get older. Am i still in that age bracket for this to happen? Or should it have happened a while ago? Thanks for all your help.sun
