Red Spot On Leg, Not Raised, No Itchy, Spreading, Cough, Fever

my friends son has these red spots all over his legs and going up his back now. Not raised bumps and do not itch ... look like bites at first glance but look more like broken vessels under the skin when looking closer. They started on his feet and have spread upward over five days. He has also had a cough and a fever .

Hello ma'am.
It seems that your son may be having Henoch scholein purpura. it is common in children and is curable. It is more likely if your son is having concomitant joint and/or abdominal pain. He may require skin biopsy and urine examination. It is better you consult both dermatologist and pediatrician urgently.
