Red Lump On Back Right Side, Getting Larger In Size. Is This Staph Infection?

I have a nickel size red lump/boil (bruised and dark looking) on my back right side in a stretch mark. It has been there for at least 2 weeks. It has gotten slightly larger and I have pushed on it. It has never formed a scab but gets very dry skin build up on it. Is this just a minor skin issue or could it be a staph infection?

hi i think it is a staphyloccal infection .it is due to excessive moisteriser over the stretch mark.it can be cured by atarax 25 mg at night,antibiotic twice daily and application of mupirocin twice daily after saline compressors
