Recurring Stiff Neck, Bumps In Neck, Armpits, Returned Back On Stopping Antibiotics. What Could It Be?

I (man, 60, apparently healthy) have a stiff neck, recurring regularly. for six months now.
This is accompanied by bumps in neck and armpits, which come and go.
Recently I used antibiotics for a week, for an unrelated reason (tooth extraction), and both stiffness and bumps disappeared overnight.
When I stopped using antibiotics, both returned.
What could it be?

Hi,
As you got relief after taking antibiotics means you got some infection in nearby area causing some enlarge lymph node giving you problem.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
Chronic infection on the scalp, ears, throat should be ruled out.
After finding problem go for treatment accordingly.
Ok and take care.
