Recurring Pneumonia. Change Of Medicine From Avelox To Bioxin. Suggestions?

my husband has pneumonia and he took bioxin in august but two weeks later the sympthoms came back, in Sept he took avelox and pneunomia came back 2 weeks later. Now the doctor prescribed bioxin again. Is it ok to take the same antibiotic twice , especially if it didnt help him the first time around
any suggestions of what he should take next

You have to go for cbc,rbs,chest x-ray and sputum culture.
Start antibiotic accordingly.Steam inhalation will be helpful.
Take oral Nsaid with,anti histaminic,decongestant.
Keep in touch with your doctor.
