Recurrent Random Itchy Red Spots That Often Burn. What Could This Be?

I have these strange random red spots that started popping up on both arms about a week or so ago. They will come and itch for along time, they give me a burning sensation under hot water and then they get a red dot in the center and then slowly fade away only to return some where else. It happens randomly and without warning. What could this possibly be? I have made a doctors appointment but that won't be for another week.

hello friend,

You are suffering from a condition known as urticaria where one gets itchy red colored transient eruptions over body.

It is a kind of allergy which can be due to some infection, food, drugs or many other things like dust, pollens, heat, cold etc.

I will advice you to get your blood tests done including hemoglobin, total leucocyte count, differential leucocyte count, Absolute eosinophil count.

Do you have any symptom of infection like sore throat, running nose, burning micturition or abdominal pain?

In the mean time you can take tab levocetrizine 5 mg daily night time for atleast 2 weeks.

You will feel better.

So, kindly reply to my questions and send your blood reports if possible.

Thanx.

Get well soon.
