Received A Tetanus Shot With Pertussis Vaccine. Sore In Arms And Having Hoarse Voice

HI, several weeks ago I received a tetanus shot with the pertussis vaccine. Of course my arm was sore for about 4 days. Several weeks later this past Monday evening my voice became very horse. I woke up Tuesday and had no voice and at times very little. The voice came back Wednessday and has been very raspy since but as of Wed.night I developes a cough that is dry and won't go away.I have cough syrup but it doesn't seem to work. Could the vaccine cause the pertussisor is allacoincidence and I have a virus in my throat?I am also very shakey at times, but don't really notice temperature changes like a warm forehead and cold body that is usuallycommon in a fever. What doyou think?

i understand your concern regarding vaccine
pertussis vaccine is a inactivated or killed vaccine does not contain live bacteria.
pertussis is type of bacteria not a virus.
tetanus vaccine is toxoid type vaccine and it also doesnot contain live bacteria.
so there is no chance of infection because of this to vaccination.

coming to adverse effects pertussis are seizures, anaphylaxis, encephalopathy, and Pain where the shot was given, Redness or swelling where the shot was given, Mild fever of at least 100.4°F , Headache, Tiredness, Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach ache, Chills, body aches, sore joints, rash, swollen glands
your voice problem might not be related to this , it could be due to other reasons like infection, inflamation, etc
get yourself examined by ENT specialist for voice problem
