Hi,
It is really frustrating to lose scalp hair at this age and that too in a female. Shampoo does not play direct role in hair growth. It has got cleansing effect. Your backward combing habit might have added to alopecia. Or it may be androgenetic alopecia. There are many other causes of hair loss. Treatment is possible after diagnosing the exact etiology.

Receding Hairline, Hair Loss On Forehead. How Can I Regain Hair?
Hi deepika, Thanks for writing in. The condition you are suffering is Androgenetic Alopecia . It is a Hormonal condition. Treatment can be minoxidil, finasteride. Minoxidil and finasteride in topical form are very safe and effective. Few procedures like mesotherapy and stem cell therapy can be helpful. They are available at dermatology clinics. Also supportive oral tablets containing biotin and multivitamis can be helpful. YOu can continue esteemo tablets. Please consult a good dermatologist for proper examination and prescription medications. Hope this helps. Regards DrSudarshan MD Dermatologist
