Reason For Severe Pain In The Chest And Shoulder Blades?

My husband just got out of the hospital for the 2nd time, with severe chest wall pain radiating to his back and shoulder blades. This time they said it was Condylitis, but it sounds more like Costochondritis. He could hardly more without have severe pain and it taking his breath. All heart test s came back normal.

His pain looks like due to Costochondritis mostly.
Along with drugs try to do following lifestyle modifications for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid heavyweight lifting.
2. Avoid strenuous exercise.
3. Avoid movements causing pain.
4. Avoid bad postures in sleep.
