Hi welcome to the health care magic

Your social situation leads you to be stressed and excess stress can lead functional bowel problem also

You have to consult gastroenterologist for examination and if needed than he will decide whether colonoscopy needed or not

First primary work up done with stool examination and USG like non Invasive investigation

Dietary modification needed with less fatty diet and avoidance of stress and smoking

Green leafy vegetables and fruits consumed more

More water should be drinked daily

If specific cause found than treated accordingly after colonoscopy

Take care

Keep all these in mind and avoid stress and consult gastroenterologist

I find this answer helpful
