Reason For Inability To Penetrate During Sexual Intercourse And Tiredness?

Hello Doctor, I am a 35 year old married male, IT professional living in Bangalore. Being a teetotaller and eggetarian, I live pretty much a moderate lifestyle. My wife, aged 27 years old, is a Homemaker. We want to start a family. Recently, I noticed that I have been unable to penetrate my penis into the vagina/uterus section and would suddenly feel tired after attempting it. My penis also grows smaller eventually. Further, after much online research, I have a wild guess that the problem might be due to scrotal swelling (Hydrocele). Is this normal or is there something to worry about ? With this condition, is it still possible to impregnate my wife via suitable non-surgical treatments? What is the ideal treatment for this problem? I appreciate if you could provide the overall cost of tests/treatment involved. Since we are yet to have our own child, please let me know if Hydrocele Surgery have any side-effects or might cause Sexual imbalance (infertile) etc ? Thanks for writing in.

Hydrocele must be evaluated in detail. You must get ultrasound scan of your scrotum done and then a surgical opinion regarding treatment. As information about your hydrocele is inadequate, I cannot give a complete opinion whether your difficulty in penetration and tiredness during sexual intercourse is due to hydrocele. Also you might be experiencing lot of everyday stress, that has to be controlled.
