Reason For Having Plenty Of Pus Cells During Urinary Infection And More Epithellial Cells During Swelling In Legs

I had urinary infection in July month. Pus cell count is plenty in urineary routine test. I took medicine and i was fine. But now my legs are swelling daily and i took the test again. It says pus cell count is 3-4 but epithellial cell count is plenty. what could be the reason?

Thanks for writing to us

You are suffering from repeated urinary tract infection(UTI).This is indicated by presence of pus cells & epithelial cells in urine.
You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,RBS,LFT,RFT,Urine RE/ME,Urine culture and sensitivity,Ultrasound of abdomen.Further investigations can be done if needed.
You need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity test.
Alkalizing syrup should also be given to change PH of urine.
