Reason For Excessive Hunger And Weight Gain?

I am a 37 year old male living in a small village of Punjab. I feel hungry for no apparent reason. My routine hasn t changed nor my work. I live a laid back life with occasional work. However I play football and hockey. Earlier I had a moderate diet but now I just crave for sweets, junk food etc. Even my staple diet quantity has gone up. As I result I have put on 3-4 kgs in last few months. I am concerned that this may lead to obesity. My vital medical and health parameters are fine. Have no history of illness.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, craving for food may be due to the gastric irritation, or diabetes.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have gastroscopy, blood sugar estimation etc.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptom ranitidine, till the diagnosis is established.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have good health and resistance against infections.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
