Nasal discharge continues in spite of using pot, and is green to light green. I would advise you the following: Stop using neti pot as the water can cause you more infection. Green is suggestive of nasal infection or is coming from the sinuses. This can be confirmed by sending the sample for gram staining, culture and sensitivity, which helps in future in deciding which antibiotic will cure you. CT scan is highly advised to know the problem . Supportive medicines in the form of nasal decongestants, oral decongestants and anti-inflammatory medicines will help in controlling the disease. X-ray of the chest will help to rule out any problem in the chest as also the clinical evaluation and examination. Take proper medications and may avoid the sinus surgery.
