Welcome to Healthcare Magic
From the information given it looks like fungal infection. But treatment taken for it is not correct. You should use a plain antifungal cream like ketoconazole 2% or terbinafine 1% for 3 weeks. Avoid using combination creams with steroid.
Hope this helped
Take care

Cardiologist Dr. Anantharamakrishnan's  Response
Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Betamethasone is for allergy...
Gentamycin is for bacteria
Neither will help fungus...

See a dermatologist / get a proper diagnosis and confirmation.
There are excellent drugs - local and/or systemic - that can cure completely and permanantly

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
