Purple Discoloration In The Inside Of The Bottom Lip, Smoker. Reason?
the inside of my bottom lip is purple; only in the corners. past few nights i ve been sleeping with the windows over my bed open and the corners of my bottom lip is also sore/chapped. i am also a smoker - but i ve been smoking for 2 years and just now seeing this purple discoloration after sleeping with windows open.

this is probably indicating of cyanosis which has multiple causes, u hv to immediately rush to a doctor for checkup.

smoking cigerrates, makes skin of the lip more keratinized (thickened) along with potentialities of cracking and fissuring especially during nights when one is exposed to cold winds. it may be a simple cyanosis, (Blue discoloration), which you might have observed on tips of fingers and tip of nose, when exposed to cold winds in winter.
Moreover, you can apply vaseline to those areas (LIPS), quit/ reduce smoking habit and avoid facing windows while sleeping, may simply solve your problem. if it still persists , go to a physiscian/ dermatologist
