Protruding Ribs On One Side, Difficulty In Breathing, Pain. Suggestions?

Hello!
Around 4 years ago, I realised that my left ribs stick out more than the right ones, i feel like something below them push very hard, i feel like i'm unable to breathe sometimes, or the air isn't enough for me... I was trying to do situps tye other day and as soon as i started, i felt like my ribs are just like knives hitting my stomach and the other organs under them, i continued doing situps, and today i felt like they really hurt, i barely can breathe!! I'm really worried about this issue!
Help please!
Thank you :)

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome at HCM.

I have read your query. If one side of chest is looking to be more protruding then you should consult to your orthopedic doctor for complete evaluation ,as you may have problem of scoliosis or side bending of spine. This is affecting your chest ribs also.At early stage this can be improved by exercises of back & with some braces.

Hope this will help you.

With best wishes.
