Pricking sensation, numbness in ring finger, thumb. Due to carpal tunnel, pinched nerve or poor circulation?

I am feeling pinprick like numbness in the ring finger and thumb tips of my left hand , nowhere else in any real significant way. I woke up with it like this. It s not severe, it just worries me that it s a sign of a bigger problem- is this Carpal Tunnel , poor circulation, pinched nerve or just an overactive imagination?
