My mother Has been suffering From loose motion For the last 14 days She has been given the following medication ofloxcanin Antibiotics And lemofine to stop the bowel movement medicine to stop the motion She was having Around 10 lucy In the dayAfter Stool culture report The antibiotics Has been changed to ciprofloxcin She still having loose motion I need some advice from you

As your mother is having loose motion due to gastroenteritis. First she was put on blind therapy of antibiotics used in gastroenteritis, But when stool culture and sensitivity is done then it becomes easier for doctor to know what drug is sensitive for that particular bacteria. So ciprofloxcin would be more appropriate. It may take more than a week to eradicate infection so continue medication and fluid replacement.
