Pregnant, High BP, Weird Feeling In Arm With Weakness, Tingling In Fingers. Sign Of Stroke?

I went to my ob gyn Thursday and found out I was 5 weeks pregnant. My blood pressure was 140/90 which they told me was high. Since then I ve been having a weird feeling in my right arm . At first I assumed it was from the blood i had drawn. My arm feels weak. This morning when I woke up I had a tingling feeling in 3 fingers on my right hand, the middle, ring and pinky. Could this be a sign of a stroke?

Hi,

Welcome to HCM

You have only one reading and detected to have slightly high BP along with Pregnancy.

This is Gestation Hypertension but take less salt and monitor BP if it is persistantly high medicines to control BP may be required.

Tingling in upper limb may be in the morning due to posture during sleep and with movement it will go away there should not be any paralysis.
Even taking blood will not cause paralysis.
Please check your blood pressure once again.

Please do not worry and take care of yourself.
