Pregnant, having thyroid problem. Taking thyronorm, l-arginine. Why are Gro-9 sachets prescribed?

Hi, I m 24 yrs old & i m pregnant from 34 weeks. I have thyroid problem (37.9) but now it is 9.41 in last week test. Now my doctor prescribed me L- Arginine Gro 9 sachets to take daily. For thyroid I m taking Thyronorm 125 mcg as prescribed by doctor. Does it means that, any complications in my pregnancy or delivery. Pl advice. why my doctor prescribed me to take Gro 9 sachets???

Wecome to HCM,
Havin hypothyroid in pregnancy needs special care ,hence you should take care to keep thyroid function almost normal.
Your treating doctor will be best person to answer this but some times this is used if BP of patient is high like in Pre Eclampsia,hypertension and even in clinical anxiety.
As such is only amino acid no need to worry and we get it from our diet veg and non veg both.
You can see your Gynaecologist and Endocrinologist to take care of your health.
If you have question you can always take Second opinion.
