Polio Drops And Fever. What Is Wrong? Recovery? Give Milk?
dear sir, we have 6day new born babies. after delivery 2nd day ,doctors give pcg injection and polio drops,so that time she got mild fever one day. But 3rd day afternoon she got heavy fever 102.so doctor suggest crocin drops with every 4 hrs. we give full day every 4hrs ,baby recover from fever fully.my qustion how long we need to continue this medicine every 4hrs. also doctor give neopeptine drops-3time 3drops,delices-z(drops dietary supplement )-afternoon 1time 5drops, since,when she take those drops,baby tke more sleep.before medicine she very active and take mother milk every 20minutes atleast.But now after those drops baby sleep more and take milk atleat 4hrs interval. kindly advice me. Stop crocin drops if there is no fever.This is medicine for fever.
Regarding the 2 kinds of drops which you give,they do not cause sleeping!
Breast feeds every 20 minutes is not normal.
The baby takes feeds every 2 hours approximately and this interval will gradually increase as the child grows.
