Pimple Over Tattoo Area, Popped It, Later Many Erupted, Diagnosed With Cellulitis, No Relief. What Could This Be?

i got a tattoo on 27 dec. On my neck and got another tattoo on 28 dec. On my back.....after two days it healed and after 4-5 days my skin was normal...but after 7 days of my tattoo....i got a little pimple....that i mistakenly poped by nail....so it became a hard but nothing came out....next day it was hurtinh like it is reaping and an another pimple came out near it....and 3-4 more pimples came our near it....so i went to casualty...he diagnosed me wit cellulitis ....so he prescribed me an antibiotic for 5 days....linox 600 was the antibiotic.....no new pimple came then and they all went off....but today i got 3-4 pimples near the region where there was pimples.....so pls suggest me wat it is?

Thanks for the query.

In tattooing needles are pierced and hence there is always a chance of infection.

You might have developed furunculosis.

It is a deep bacterial infection.

The bacteria might have been driven deep with the infected needle.

Treatment with oral and topical antibiotics is required.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
