Pimple Like Bumps That Don't Itch, Had Staph. What To Do?
i had staff it is now gone but still have one or to pimpel looking bumps that dont itch dont burn could it still be staff bumps or mybe in grown hairs i seen a dr. and showed him he said staff spreds like wild fire and that is was staff but when i pop them they bleed i did have a few but now only have tow and almost gone
You have not mentioned about your age. If you are old, do you have Diabetes Mallitus?
In younger age group pimple are common. In the presence of Diabetes recurrence of Staph infection is likely.
So the diabetes must be controlled to the maximum extent possible. If you are on any other types of immuno-suppression therapy like steroids then also you are prone to get recurrences.
You can have a culture and sensitive test and appropriate antibiotics for an extended period will give you good result. Some of the strains of Staph are resistant to common antibiotics, so culture and sensitivity will be very much beneficial.
Antiseptic soaps, antiseptic bathing will also be helpful and rule out any source of staph from other sites of body like nail bed etc.
You will become alright soon.
