Patches Of Round Spots Like Ring Worms On Thigh. What Are They If Not Itchy?

i have patches of round raised spots similar to ring worm on the inside of my upper arm just below my armpit as well as on my upper thigh on the back of my leg. I have been treating them with lotrimen but they are not going away. They are not really itchy and i cannot figure out what they are. The one on my leg is bigger than a half dollar. Can you give me any advise as to what they are. The one on my leg has been there about 8 months.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

You might have developed fungal infection.

Usually it is itchy but may present even without itch.

Another possibility is a condition called as granuloma annulare,

A photograph would have helped me better.

Please get a KOH mount done,

This can confirm the fungal etiology.

Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
