Pain Right Lower Side. Thyroxine, Perinodopeil Hb Prescribed. Urination Burning. No Relief. Taken Codomol. Suggestions?
hi, i am a 57yrs female i take thyroxine and perindopril hb about a week ago i started with a pain in my right side and lover back and the urgency to wee i am getting a burning sensation when i wee but its only a trickle i have never had a water infection but thought this is what it was so i thought drink more a week later i feel no better my wee has now started to be frothy and my feet are stating to swell i feel cold and the pain in my back is worse at night i am taking co codomol and it takes the edge off i have rung my gp 48hrs ago their policy is to take a sample and then let you know its know 48hrs ago i am waiting but feel exhausted
Hi, This is most likely to be a urine infection as you said. Keep drinking plenty of water and take co-codamol. It sounds like you have had a rigor which is when the infection has a widespread effect making you feel hot and cold and shivering. I think you need to be on antibiotics so if your doctor doesn't contact you soon then you need to follow it up.
