Pain, Low BP, Body Swelling After Having Herpes. Reason? Can I Concieve?

Hello doc I had harpies in Feb. But still I feel pain in the infected area . After having harpies suddenly my BP is low and I be swelling on by body. Does harpies affect the pregnancy. I wanna conceive baby but i afraid coz one of my acquaintance after two years from harpies she had conceived but his child is mentally disturbed .

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
You have suffered Herpes in february but pain is still there it is due to postherpetic neuralgia, you should consult a Neurologist and there are good medicines like Gabapentin and pregabalin commonly used in such cases. Please consult and get proper prescription.
Low blood pressure and swelling over body must be examined and investigated for causes like Thyroid functions, Kidney function. Treatment depends on cause.

This should not affect your pregnancy but remember there are viral diseases like German measles affect the fetus, other things are drugs and nutritional deficiency like folic acid. so take care.
There are many antenatal test during pregnancy which can be done like Triple test and Quadruple test to detect possibilities of fetal defects so go for test s at proper time your Gynecologist will guide you.
