Pain In Tongue, Difficulty In Swallowing, Stiff Muscles, Anemic. Nursing Mother. Is Dehydration The Cause?

tongue as been enlarged for 4 days it feel painful to the touch. When I drink water or tea it hurts and it is difficult to swallow. I have not eaten anything new. I feel my muscle are stiff. I am anemic, I have had my blood tested for iron 1 month ago. I am a nursing mother. Is it possible that dehydration could cause such a problem?

hi,
thank you for your query.

the problem you are experiencing are due to deficiency or vitamin b12.also called as megaloblastic anaemia..
hence i would suggest you to increase your intake of green leafy vegetables, fruits, also start taking B12 tablets.they need to be taken for minimum of a month for the symptoms to improve.

by following the above your symptoms will mostly improve in a month.
thank you,
wishing you good health
