Pain In The Throat, Difficult To Swallow. Need To See A Doctor?

My left ear and left side of my throat have been hurting for like three days now...I don't have insurance so I really don't to go to the doctor unless its really necessary..it really hurts especiaaly when I swollow..if I don't move n just stay laying down it doesn't hurt as much. Willow the pain go away or do I have to visit a doctoor? Is there something I can do at home or over the counter medicine?

it seems that your throat infection has traveled down to your ear too, initially the best things that you can do are repeated saline gargles, and take tramadol for pain which will be available over the counter, and take valslva manouver, that is inflating an air naloon over and again, this will improve aeration to your ear.if pain doesnot go away,or your see any discharge coming out of your ear then consult your doctor as you l need full treatment with antibiotic cover.
