Pain In The Testicles While Applying Pressure. Why?

Used to have a nagging pain in right testicle , just below the top and close to the middle. This is behind the testicle. The testicle was smooth on touch only the area at the back seemed tender and applying pressure to that specific area would cause sharp pain. Now the nagging feeling is gone but the area is still tender and only hurts when pressure is applied.

Hello Zohaib...
Pain in the testicular region can be attributed to either trauma or inflammation/infection.
In your post you have not mentioned about any history of trauma.
So an infective or inflammatory cause can be thought of...such as orchitis or epididymo-orchitis.
Under such condition, you need to take antibiotics along with analgesics under the guidance of your Doctor.
There is nothing to worry...you will be fine.
Make sure you take the medications properly.
Also avoid wearing tight fitting underwear or trousers...so that pressure in the testicular area can be prevented.

Wishing you a Good Health. Let me know if I need to clarify further.
Thanks & take care.

Psychiatrist Dr. Sushil Kumar Sompur's  Response
Hi there ~

Please have yourself examined thoroughly by a surgeon. I also suggest that you walk in with your STD testing panel since it will be required by the surgeon. I hope this helps. In the meanwhile you may take pain killer medications to help relieve the pain.

Take care and have a good day !
