Pain In The Stomach Between The Shoulder Blades, Excessive Thirst, Itching On The Body, Back Pain. Blood In Stool With Diarrhea. Any Idea What Is This?
I have pain in my stomach and between my left shoulder blade. I also have lower back pain . extreme thirst and itching all over. I am a 40 yr old male who has all been physical in shape through exercise. It started on New Years where I over indulge in eating. I bent over and my back locked up, LAter that week I passed bloody stool that turn into a week of diarrhea . It all passed but the systems above. I help.

Hello,
You are 40 yrs old, healthy and have the following complaints probably after a heavy dinner on the new year's eve
!) Pain in the Stomach
2) Pain between your left shoulder blade
3) Excessive Thirst
4) Itching all over the body.
The symptoms of bloody stool and diarrhea is not there now.
What you need is basic blood tests, BP, ECG, X-ray chest - to rule out DM, HT and heart problem. Any problem - treat them.
If hyper acidity is there - regular bland diet, drinking plenty of water and avoiding spicy Fast food.
Pain killers and muscle relaxants if needed along with antacids
Find the cause for itching - diet, dress, atmosphere, perfumes like smell etc., and avoid it.
