Pain In The Left Arm, Sleeplessness. Could This Be Due To Indigestion?

Hi, I m a 30-yr old woman... Since the last couple of hours I m having severe pain in my left arm ...also down to the left hand ... And I have an indigestion issue as well... Usually if I m not feeling well, I can drink lots of water (keep myself hydrated) eat well and easily sleep it off... But sleep is totally missing... Should I be worried...?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

As a description of your pain could be due to a cardiovascular problem as well, it is best you don't ignore this. An EKG conducted at the earliest can avoid any initial damage that could be cause if this is indeed a cardiovascular problem.

Please do not be alarmed, doctors prefer being safe than sorry. Kindly visit an ER at the earliest.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
