Pain In Lower Abdomen, Feverish, Chills, Dizziness. Diagnosed Inflammation Of Terminal Ilieum With Nodules. Advised Colonoscopy. Crohn S Disease?

I am writing out of concern for my husband. He is a 27 year old of punjabi descent. He is fairly healthy, but does have high blood pressure. Digestive problems run in his family. 2 weeks ago he started feeling waves of pain in the lower right side of his abdomen. After a day or two we went to the clinic and the doctor said he suspected appendicitis. So we went to emergency and they did a blood test and ct scan. Result was not the appendix, but the terminal ilieum is inflamed with some nodules around it. They sent us home and set us up with a gastroenterologist appointment. We went a few days later to him and he basically said it could be crohns or an infection, he's not sure. (His white blood cell count is fine so I guess it's not infection though?) The GI booked a colonoscopy for him in 6 weeks. We can't wait that long for answers. He is so tired all the time, it's impeding his entire schedule. He also feels very feverish but only has a temperature of 37.7 or so. He gets chills and dizzy spells too. I don't know what to do. Is it crohns? Is it an infection? What's going on? I've been researching like crazy and find nothing that really matches. And the doctor isn't seeming to take it very seriously. Any help would be appreciated.
