Pain In Leg Muscle, Trying To Lose Weight, Practicing Running. Is It A Pulled Muscle?
I am training for a half marathon. I just began running on asphalt to prepare but have been experiencing pain on the top of my right quad where the crease of my leg is. Is this a pulled muscle? I am a female, weigh about 165 and am also trying to lose weight. I have been eating really healthy and stretch before and after my workout.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain in leg muscle could be due to small muscle tear or cranp due to inadequate warning up before the exercise. Electrolyte rich fluids can help. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
